About Taucho
The name "Taucho" is derived from *Taucho-gane*, a local dialect term from the Isahaya region of Japan for the fiddler crab. Fiddler crabs are known for a distinctive movement in which they wave one of their claws as if beckoning toward the setting sun.
We named this service with the hope that, even if individual actions are small, their collective impact will create a powerful synergy within influencer content—much
..like the fiddler crab, whose Japanese name literally translates to "one that beckons the tide."
Taucho is a live stream automation platform. It watches your YouTube, Twitch, and NicoNico channels around the clock, and when viewers interact — sending a Super Chat, gifting, cheering with Bits, or triggering emotion effects — your smart home devices respond instantly.
No scripts to run. No browser tab to keep open. The cloud service handles all detection and device control automatically.
🎯 How It Works
Register your streaming account handles (YouTube, Twitch, NicoNico). The polling service detects when you go live automatically — nothing to trigger manually.
For each channel, set rules tied to platform-specific events: comments, Super Chats, Bits, gifts, Nicoru reactions, hype trains, raids, and more.
Add your smart home devices — Govee, Philips Hue, LIFX, WLED, TP-Link Kasa, and others. Configure API credentials once; reuse devices across any number of conditions.
When a condition fires, the cloud service calls the device API directly. Lights change color, plugs switch, LEDs animate — in real time, while you stream.
